Client Terms

Version 2026-05-10 · v1.0 · For customers of providers using Plantburgh Portal. White-label-aware.

✓ v1.0 · effective 2026-05-10 · reviewed by counsel. Operating entity: Plantburgh®, a Pennsylvania limited liability company (parent of Plantburgh Products).

1. Who You Are

You are a customer ("Client") of a service provider ("Provider") who uses the Plantburgh Portal platform to operate their business. The Provider may have invited you to a client portal, sent you a quote or invoice, or interacted with you via a website chat widget powered by Plantburgh.

2. Who You Are Contracting With

The service you are paying for, the work performed, schedule, scope, pricing, and refunds — these are the Provider's responsibility, not Plantburgh's. Plantburgh provides the technology platform; the Provider is your service provider.

Where the Provider has chosen white-label or co-branded presentation, the platform may display the Provider's branding prominently. Plantburgh remains the technology operator. Payment processing is performed by Stripe under Stripe's standard terms.

3. Acceptable Use

  • Use the Provider's portal, widget, or other Provider-branded surface only for legitimate communication with the Provider.
  • Do not attempt to access another Client's data, the Provider's internal data, or the platform's underlying systems.
  • Do not use AI features (chat, drafting) to harass, generate harmful content, or abuse the Provider.

4. Your Data

Information you provide (name, contact, address, payment details, photos, messages) is processed by Plantburgh on the Provider's behalf. The Provider is the data controller; Plantburgh is the data processor. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

For privacy requests (access, correction, deletion), contact your Provider first. Plantburgh will support the Provider in fulfilling lawful requests.

5. Payments

Payments you make through the platform are processed by Stripe, deposited to the Provider's Stripe Connect account, and are subject to Stripe's terms and the Provider's terms with you. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks are handled per Stripe's standard processes.

6. AI & Automated Communication

The Provider may use AI features to draft messages or quotes. AI output is reviewed by the Provider before being sent to you, except in widget chat sessions where AI may respond in real time. AI-drafted messages may contain errors. If something looks wrong, contact the Provider.

7. White-Label Disclosure

Some Providers operate the platform under their own brand. Even where Plantburgh is not visibly named, payment processing remains by Stripe and core technology is provided by Plantburgh LLC. This disclosure is required for transparency.

8. No Service Warranty from Plantburgh

Plantburgh provides the platform "as is." Plantburgh does not warrant the quality, timeliness, or completeness of services provided to you by the Provider. Disputes about service quality should be raised with the Provider directly.

9. Termination of Your Access

Your access to a Provider-branded portal or widget is at the Provider's discretion. The Provider may revoke access if you breach these Client Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or your agreement with the Provider.

10. Changes

Material changes to these Client Terms will be communicated through the Provider's portal or widget. Continued use after the new effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Contact

Service-related questions: contact the Provider directly. Platform-level concerns: legal@plantburgh.com.
